Rulon Schmidt, licenced REALTOR®, joined Fair Realty in 2020 after many years of working in an administrative role for Marko. By 2022, Rulon received his first Gold MLS® award (the highest award given out by the Victoria Real Estate Board to top producing agents). Growing up in the Cowichan Valley, Rulon moved to Victoria in 2009 where he attended Camosun College and University of Victoria; graduating with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Over the course of his education, Rulon quickly learned to manage time as he balanced a 5 year career playing College/University basketball for the Camosun Chargers and University of Victoria Vikes. He finished a decorated career earning several personal and team accolades, most notably winning both a silver and gold in the PAC West and Canada West championships respectively. Rulon has found a new passion, first by being interested in Real Estate as an investment, purchasing four condos since 2014 in downtown Victoria; this passion grew to a true interest in all aspects of a Real Estate transaction. Rulon has continued his career serving the Pacific Naval Fleet at CFB Esquimalt as a civilian (Instrumentation Technologist); however, after graduating from the UBC Realtor Licensing Program he has been utilizing his skills to assist clients in finding homes they love while offering industry leading value.
